A LATE CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
Each Christmas my oldest son, David Grimaud, cre- ates a CD for our company Grimaud Enterprises, Inc (dba Precision Tune). e songs are all created with family, employ-
ees and friends. It is my pleasure to share them with you this Christmas season and to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Be blessed. We are blessed. I am overwhelmed by my blessings. Having de- veloped our rst Precision Tune Center in Columbia, SC, in 1979, we now have 93 located from Jacksonville, FL to Salt Lake City, UT. How much more blessed can one be? And last year we sold our property in Chapin, SC, where Chapin Furniture was located and will soon open a new one next to I-26 that is twice the size of the old one. RED RIVER FLOWING
There is a red river owing through the heartland of America. It’s the 1360-mile long Red River, a major tribu- tary of the Mississip- pi and Atchafalaya River in the southern
United States. is owing river through the Texas Panhandle acts as a magical bor- der between the states of Texas and Okla- homa and forms a short border between Texas and Arkansas then turns south into Louisiana. e sedimentary river rocks predominantly red in color are due to the presence of ferric oxides, which typically occur as a coating on the grains of sedi- ments comprising red beds. As the Red River weaves it’s way through the south- ern states, it seems to cast a spell over the inhabitants in the valley. One such mani- festation is a cowboy song, Red River Val- ley; with lyrics that date back as early as 1896. is forlorn cowboy song depicts a heartsick cowboy whose wife or girlfriend is getting ready to leave him due to hard- ships she encountered with life in the val- ley.
