CITYLIGHT REPORT2018 ANNUAL REPORT | CITYLIGHT.ORGCityLight held it monthly Catalyst Prayer Breakfast at the Colum- bia Metropolitan ConventionCenter in Columbia, SC. These events were broadcast worldwide to our af-  liates. Community Leaders from the seven pillars of society were speakers for the event. Each breakfast is ac- companied by the publishing of the Catalyst Magazine highlighting pro- grams and projects of the month.New prayer group were organized lo- cally and internationally. The CityLight Prayer Groups are started by a lead- ers who organized at least 12 friends to come together in discipleship train- ing. These groups meet at least once a month to study, pray and to work on some community project. In East Af- rica several groups building churches, widows’ homes and doing micro lend- ing and  nancing projects.There are four designated prayergroup for men, women, teen girl and pre-teen girls. Men on the Wall groups are based on the exploits of Nehemiah in the Bible. The men work together in prayer to build up their communi- ties. The Esther Women of In uence prayer group based their group on the courage of the biblical character Es- ther and her e orts to save her peo- ple. The Esther Teens and Daughters of Ruth are groups for young girls who are being discipled in the Cross Style message and Lifestyle.There is also group organized in like manner to Save the Mustang wild horses. A group of Christian horse lov- ers were praying about the conditions under which these horses were bru- tally rounded up and put in pens for slaughter. They organized their prayer groups to respond to this issue.CityLight has its annual planning and de- velopment retreat for all groups in January.19
