The vision for an Ecumenical Train- ing Camp is centered in the idea of a rural residential training fa-cility for local and international minis- ters. The camp is an extension of the Ecumenical Church worldwide and the Ecumenical University. The camp sup- ports residential training for leaders of the 300 expectant congregations in the Little Prayer Chapels across the southeastern United States. In addi- tion, it is to serve as a bridge communi- ty for ministers coming over 80 coun- tries where we have prayer groups, Ecumenical churches and students from our Ecumenical campuses in oth- er countries.The campus is on 43 acres of land in the Batesburg-Leesville community of South Carolina. There is housing for three hundred in camp style barracks, family accommodations for twenty ve families, a cafeteria, church wor- ship center, classrooms, multipurpose building, gymnasium, sta housing, faculty housing, swimming pool and a lake. On the property we will estab- lished a production studio for audioThe Camp is for sale at $1,500,000and video recording of ministers in the local language. With so many lan- guages and cultures, it will be an ed- ucational experience for Americans to become acquainted Christians from di erent languages and cultures from other regions of the world.While providing week end training and educational experiences for U.S. based Ecumenical pastors, ministers, church o cers, members, the camps promis- es to be to be a refuge and a retreat for members of the Body of Christ.The camp is being sold by the Church of God in Prophecy. The sale price of the Camp was 2.5 million dollars. Someone donated the land and mon- ey for construction of the church’s new larger camp. As a result of this dona- tion, the church has reduced the prop- erty to 1.5 million dollars.It is our plan to raise the funds to pur- chase the camp by the end of rst quar- ter of the year.
