The condition of your soul, or the condi- tion of your mind will influence the choices you make.
The Spiritual mind (what you need to be influenced and controlled by) is the mind that’s renewed, set on the Word of God or programmed. If you want to prosper, you need a spiritual mindset.
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually mind- ed is life and peace” (Romans 8:5-6).
If you’ll do this above---- if you really trust Him, and allow Him to direct your path-- -- you’ll have peace.
Make a decision that peace will rule! Do you know He sent His Word to you so you could prosper?
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth: It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and he led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:11-12). If you’re consis- tent in doing the Word, the will of God, you will prosper---- if you do it His way.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosper- ous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
Being prosperous is not talking about how prosperous you are---- it’s prospering. Too
many people seem to be prosperous on the surface, but they’re not prospering. Truth is not looking like but really prospering. It’s like people who say they’re happy---- but they’re not really happy, they’re miser- able.
The key to good success is to have a pros- perous soul, or a prosperous mind. A lot of believers have decided (Deuteronomy 30:19) that it’s all right to be prosperous in some areas, and not prosperous in others.
Let not our Soul dictate our lives but looking to Jesus “the author and finisher of our faith;” (Hebrews 12:2) not looking unto others, or ourselves but looking unto Jesus.
