being delayed. He said, “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the mas- ter of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not ex- pect. Who then is a faithful and wise ser- vant, whom his master made ruler
over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you, that he will make him ruler over all his goods.” (Matthew 24: 42–47)
So, let me ask you. When Jesus returns, will you be the one caught trying to break into someone else’s home or business, because if you are, Jesus is on the other side of the door ready to give that rebel yell, “Away from me! I don’t know you!” Or are you the one safely inside His house watching and waiting for His return? You and God are the ones who know.
Hot Spinach Dip
INGREDIENTS:
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced 1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 (6.5 ounce) jar artichoke hearts, drained and mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1/4 cup heavy cream _______________________
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Mix together spinach, bell pep- per, garlic, artichokes, sour cream, and parmesan cheese.
3. Season with salt and pepper. Mixture will be thick; add cream to thin to dip consistency.
4. Spoon into a 1-quart baking dish.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with crackers.
