once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”

puT firST ThingS firST Long ago I established some priorities for my own life. Those priorities are: God, Family, Country, and Career. I must spend over 70 percent of my waking hours work- ing in my career. I can do this because I be- lieve in multi-tasking. While I am working I have the opportunity to meet others who need Jesus in their lives. I have the oppor- tunity to illustrate how a Christian lives. I have the opportunity to pray with those I come in contact with who need Him. Some of them are suffering physically or in other ways, and they are at a precipice where they can be led to Christ who can help them to bear their burdens or, often, even lift those burdens from their lives. The career also helps me provide for my family. That was illustrated so well in the November Cata- lyst with Gladys’ article, “The Road Out of Poverty.” If you didn’t read it, you should go to Citylight.org and look it up. On my third priority, I served actively in our country’s military for 20 years, and now use my career
to pay my taxes to support this country.

Think win-win

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no com- mandment greater than these.” It doesn’t get much more Win-Win than this.

and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house to- day.” So he came down at once and wel- comed him gladly. All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stood up
