In all the countries we serve there are so many children who are su ering through no fault of their own. In Af-rica many children are left with no par- ents because of the AIDS virus, or Ebo- la. There are areas of tribal con ict and even e orts at mass genocide leaving children eeing for their lives. In India there are so many children who are cast aside like rubbish. Not to mention the children of Costa Rica who are a tourist attraction for the sex industry.It has always been my desire to bring some of these children home with me. My own personal experiences of being a child with adult responsibili- ties causes my heart to be open and full of love and compassion for these children who su er daily. I want to do more than send a check and get a pic- ture once a month. I want to be a part of their lives. What if, we could raise young missionaries who come out of these circumstances, given a home, family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What if, they were with an intentional life mission to serve the su ering chil- dren of the world.I have sponsored, worked with children who have grown up and done amazing things in their local communities. How much more could be done when they are equipped with a loving family, a sup- portive environment, given a world class education, access to technology and the leadership model of Jesus Christ.Other groups and religions are taking these children and strapping bombs to their bodies, armies are taking younggirls and boys and making them sex slaves. In Asia, children are a cheap la- bor engine driving an economy that only supports the tyrants who exploit them.I want to be a part of a Christian re- sponse that will reverberate across the nations for generations. Let us be the rst to recognize the call of Jesus in our relationship to young children. Su er the children, let them come unto us. Let the love of Christ that’s planted in them change a generation.Let us buy a house and make it a home and a school for refugee children as professor Xavier did for mutants in the X men. Let us teach the Word of God through the text and our life example. Let us be the truth, the answer to the ques- tion everyone is afraid to ask. Let us ar- range for 10 -15 children to leave the pits of hell. Let us bring the children home.Let us buy a mansion with 20 bed- rooms and ample space for homes- chooling. Let’s give two retired cou- ples an opportunity to live the rest of their lives sharing the love of Christ with these children and world. Let’s open the door to some amazing Chris- tian young people who want to give a year or two of their lives teaching and mentoring these world leaders.
