Satan will try to plant thoughts into our minds which appeal to us in these areas.
ere are many Christians who have been deceived into thinking that as long as they don’t outwardly sin by their actions, they have not sinned. ey allow their minds to be lled with all sins of evil desires and language. ey indulge in fantasies.
Don’t let Satan deceive you! Sin is con- ceived in your heart and mind.
“But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already commit- ted adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast if from you; for it is more pro table for
you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:28-29
When we allow our hearts and minds to be lled with impure thoughts, evil de- sires, lusts of the esh and entertain these thoughts we have already sinned, just as if we has outwardly committed the act.
Resist any attack of Satan to gain access into your mind through the eyegate and the eargate.
“Be on guard! Don’t deceive yourself into thinking that you could never be deceived or tempted and fall into sin.”
