For Jimmy, the greatest gift Dianne brings
to their marriage is `Trust'. "Dianne pro-
vides me safety. She is the only constant
in my life here on earth. I'll sit down with
Dianne and spout o to her the number of
obstacles, circumstances, problems, di cul-
ties, disasters, and grief I'm confronting and
desperately require her to understand just
how close I am to death's door." Her reply
goes something like this, "So what you're
telling me is that you feel like you're going
to die?" "Yes"... I reply. With a twinkle in
her eye she'll dryly say, `sounds to me like
you're experiencing some minor discomfort
and because you loathe pain so much you've
gone into `Jimmy's World' of self-focus and
pity. What do you say to that?
`Absolutely Nothing', he says with a smile."
Earlier in the year Dianne and Jimmy were
blessed with the high-call of raising their
one-year old and two-year old grandchil-
dren making these precious children a per-
manent part of their home. Jimmy shares,
"Caring for and loving Braydon and Pai-
sely has changed everything. I've never had
children of my own and providing them a
safe place to grow and ourish has allowed
me to experience God's love in ways I've
never dreamed possible. It's been corrective
for me personally. I can't wait for them to
wake up in the middle of the night just so I
can be with them. It's also made me fall in
love all over again with Dianne. Her nur-
ture and care as a full-time working mother
overwhelms me. She's my hero."
Now with half his life behind him the ques-
tion remains what's next for Jimmy LaRose?
"One of my personal struggles over these
many years has been to simply determine
what's true. Having committed my entire
career to a single discipline has provided me
with the experience and data to conclusively
chart for leaders in the corporate, govern-
ment, and nonpro t sectors a path to trans-
forming people's lives in ways never thought
possible. ere's going to be a dramatic shift
in thought within all the sectors as to why we
exist, what our purpose is, and how we must
work together to a ect change. I hope to spend
the rest of my life inspiring others to join our
Heavenly Father in His mission to love his
creation as their `Great Need-Meeter.'
