learned from the "Royal Princess" organization
by teaching high school girls the principles
demonstrated by Queen Esther, as they transi-
tion to college and to womanhood.
After learning about CityLight and attend-
ing an Esther Women of In uence Retreat in
2010. God placed it in Tandra's heart to start
an Esther Women of In uence prayer group
in Charleston. Tandra answered the call in
September 2011, with 18 powerful women at-
tending the rst prayer group meeting at " e
Lord's House". e group's focus is prayer,
teaching and ministry through service to oth-
ers. Tandra has a deep relationship with the
Lord and believes that prayer and ministry are
vital to her existence and that service is a by-
product of prayer. She believes that it is one
thing to pray, but to serve is "faith in action"
(putting your hands to the plow), which is
required by God. "Faith without works is dead
(James chapter 2)."
"We are honored to have Tandra join us".
On October 20th she launched her monthly
prayer group meetings. "She said this is new
ground, a faith walk, for me and a major step
toward the heart and will of God concern-
ing my life and with many other women in
the Charleston area". "I am excited not only
about what she will bring to our ministry, but
also about the role she will play in the lives of
many women in Charleston, SC. With this
partnership it is our desire to see Charleston
strengthen it's long -standing reputation of
the "Holy City", with Esther women leading
the way through the prayers of these godly
women, said Luella Redfern, National Ex-
ecutive Director of the Esther Women of
In uence. Our rst priority is to be a Cata-
lyst, building relationships in which lives are
changed. Our mission is to prepare women to
lead Godly lives, teaching biblical principles
for the individual, her family and her nation.
Empowering women and girls across the
globe to weather the storms of life that come
our way, with a strong
foundation upon which
to stand. Understanding
that through prayer and
the study of God's word,
the strongest foundation
is the love of God re-
vealed in Jesus Christ".
