ference in the lives of single parents. And
so, Support Groups and Life Coaching were
born. After 6 years of successfully operating
as such a grass roots organization, the Single
Parent Support Network formally became a
non-profits in June of 2010.
In Rhonda's words, "I, too, am a single mom
making good and bad choices along the way
and that equates to the sum total of where
I am today. The most radical choice that
I have made was to allow the Designer of
life itself, the Artist who is still painting my
life, the One true God who created, under-
stands and holds life, to transform my very
existence. I am learning every day how to
raise my 16 year old son, how to respond to
a comment when I want to say something
really ugly, how to give when I have nothing
else to give, how to touch another life when
it is so easy to be self focused. I am learning
to give up more of myself and to allow the
Creator to respond, touch and give through
me." Rhonda challenges each of us to begin
a transformation in our life for the sake of
our children and to ask ourselves, what kind
of legacy will I leave for my children tomor-
row.
With this partnership, The Esther Women
of Influence first priority is to be a Cata-
lyst, building relationships in which lives
are changed. Our mission is to prepare
women to lead Godly lives, teaching biblical
principles for the individual, her family and
her nation. Empowering women and girls
across the globe to weather the storms of life
that come our way, with a strong foundation
upon which to stand. Understanding that
through prayer and the study of God's word,
the strongest foundation is the love of God
revealed in Jesus Christ.

We are honored to have Rhonda Thomas
partner with us. The Single Parent Support
Network began with Rhonda, who had a
vision for the organization in 2000. With
a few of her friends, Rhonda planned the
first Queen for a Day event that is now the
Network's largest event. More than thirty
women were served that first year and were
pleased to be treat-
ed as such royalty.
After the third year
of success for the
event, Rhonda and
her friends decided
they needed more
than just one day a
