In the interim, Marsh will continue to re-
tain his position as president of SCE&G.
Kevin Marsh, 55, is a native of Atlanta,
Georgia, and earned a BS degree in Ac-
counting at the University of Georgia in
Athens. He began his career with Deloitte
& Touche Certified Public Accountants in
Columbia, South Carolina, in 1977. Marsh
joined South Carolina Electric & Gas
Company (SCE&G), the principal sub-
sidiary of SCANA Corporation, in 1984
as group manager of technical accounting
and was named vice president and con-
troller in 1989. Since then he has served
in the capacity of vice president of corpo-
rate planning of SCE&G and vice presi-
dent of finance, treasurer and controller of
SCANA Corporation. In 1996 Marsh was
named vice president and chief financial
officer (CFO) of SCANA and became se-
nior vice president in 1998. In addition to
his duties as SCANA's CFO, from October
2001 to March 2003, he served as presi-
dent and chief operating officer of PSNC
Energy, the company's natural gas distribu-
tion company headquartered in Gastonia,
North Carolina. In addition to his current
role as president of SCE&G, he was ap-
pointed in January 2011 as president and
chief operating officer (COO) of SCANA
Corporation.
Marsh is a board member of First Citi-
zens Bancorporation of South Carolina,
Epworth Children's Home, Citizens for
Sound Conservation, and a past board
member of Palmetto Place Children's
Emergency Shelter, Junior Achievement of
South Carolina, and Sharing God's Love
emergency support organization. Kevin
and his wife are members of Grace United
Methodist Church of Columbia, SC. He
has two daughters and two grandchildren.
