God will change things if we pray. I believe
2 Chronicle 7:14,
"if my people, who are called by my name, will
humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways, then will I
hear from heaven and will forgive their sin
and will heal their land."
Only He can forgive our sins and heal our
families. Make prayer a priority in your life.
God is waiting to have a conversation with
you today.
In Him, "for such a time as this"
I believe that God wants us to meet people
where they are, pray for them and disciple
them. He will bring them to where He needs
them to be. God is using you and me to
disciple our family. It's not easy because it's
not just our talk but also our walk. Satan
will try to use our love ones to break us. The
people closest to us say a lot of things, some
very hurtful, but I believe it's because God
is convicting them not because their heart is
harden. We must continue to pray. These
circumstances and situations of life teach
us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17).
There have been times in all of our lives when
we looked on the outside for something that
makes us feel good. We criticized others to
keep from looking at ourselves. Overlooking
God. I've been hurt many times by many
people. I have learned to pray for those who
hurt me. I chose to forgive them. I thank
God for a forgiving spirit. The Apostle Paul
tells us in Phil 3:13-14 to forget those things
which are behind, and reaching forth unto
those things which are before, I press toward
the mark for the prize of the high calling of
God in Christ Jesus.
We need God for everything not just the big
things. If you are not sure how to pray, read
scripture and ask the Lord to give you in-
sight. Pursue intimacy with Him. Growing
in oneness with God lets us experience His
awesome presence. Through prayer we ex-
perience relationship with God. We spend
time with God in prayer and communion
because we love him.
