y name is Zoe Warren and I am a
media missionary with Matter of the
Heart. We are currently campaigning for
the "Operation Good Shepherd" housing
project in the Philippines. We are fund-
raising to build homes on higher ground
in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City, Philip-
pines for the 30,000 displaced families in
the wake of Typhoon Washi. The recent
earthquake at the beginning of February
has added further aggravation to the issue
as the help for the Typhoon victims is now
divided, but the Lord has provided land on
higher ground to build permanent housing
for families and extended families. Please
pray about allowing us to share their story
and ask for help within your readership.
Matter of the Heart is the combined ef-
forts of King Jesus Christian Fellowship
Church (KJCFC), Cagayan de Oro, Phil-
ippines and Fellowship of His Sufferings,
US. KJCFC is on the ground building and
has been providing emergency shelter, food
and clothing for orphans, widows and fam-
ilies since the disaster through "The Gift of
Love Operation." Fellowship of His Suf-
ferings is the media ministry that has come
alongside them to help to raise funds for
the current building initiative. Matter of the
Heart is a not-for-profit fundraising initia-
tive campaigning, on the net and in print,
to raise awareness and satisfy the need of
the Filipino people of Cagayan de Oro and
Iligan City through the Good Shepherd
Housing Project. 100% of your giving goes
to the Good Shepherd Housing Project.
KJCFC has been commissioned and estab-
lished since 1980, under the administration
of Bishop Eddie Deita. He has 40+ assem-
blies to oversee. Many tribal churches have
been added since the disaster.
