lene Williams of Swansea, SC. She has
two brothers and two sisters. A native
of Swansea, SC, Mother Colter received
her formal education through the pri-
mary and secondary schools of the Lex-
ington County School District. She was
in the educational field for fifteen years.
Mother Colter became a founding
member of Perfecting Faith Church
COGIC and continues to serve there
as the Church Mother. At Perfecting
Faith, she currently heads the Depart-
ment of Women and the Mother's
Board. In both capacities, she contin-
ues to encourage women to be diligent
and committed to the local work, while
stead-fastly living as Godly examples
of true Disciples of Christ.
God blessed Deacon Colter with the
greatest gift he could receive in the per-
son of his wife Marie. Her passion, zeal
and enthusiasm for God are tremendous
assets to the body of Christ at large. They
have been married for thirty-nine years.
God has blessed them with two beauti-
ful and uniquely gifted children, Samuel
N. and Demetria (Antonio) Pam and
five grandchildren, Vanessa, Shaquille,

eacon Samuel Colter, affec-
tionately known as Pop Col-
ter, is a native of Swansea,
South Carolina. He is the eldest child
of Nathaniel (deceased) and Azalea
Colter, born on Math 14th. He at-
tended public schools in Swansea. He
served over thirty years with the Unit-
ed States Army, which included assign-
ments in Kansas, Germany, Kentucky,
Korea. After his military career, he at-
tended and graduated from Grantham
University with a Masters in business.
Deacon Colter accepted Christ as his
Lord and Saviour at Perfecting Faith
Church. He has the heart of God
which manifests in his life. Deacon
Colter's is a man after God's own heart.
He is currently an Adult Sunday School
teacher, the Chairperson of the Men's
department, and serves as the Church
Father. He is a self-motivated teacher
and speaker with a passion for seeing
the Lord transform lives. His sincere
commitment to enhancing the king-
dom of God on earth is manifested in
a loyal attention to his daily activities
and his services at the church.
